Hallo!
I have an issue with V7 Pro.
I hadn’t used the set‑top box for a long time. After turning it on following a break of several months I wanted to check its internet access. For that I plugged a Huawei 3G USB modem into it.
The box froze. After powering it on with the physical power button and rebooting, only a green LED lights on the front. There is no “BOOT” message and nothing appears on the TV screen.
I checked the power adapter voltage — it shows 12.45 V with no load.
When I plug in the USB modem it also receives power. However the set‑top box does not start.
What might be the cause and how can I try to fix it?
Could inserting a USB pendrive with firmware help?
Is this more likely a hardware problem?
